El Moro (Airagdin Pavon More) hails from Havana, Cuba, and from a young age immersed himself in dance. He trained at the Academia Nacional de Narciso Medina and danced with prestigious Cuban companies before touring internationally with shows like Havana Nights. Today, he’s widely regarded as a master of Afro-Cuban forms — rumba, mambo, cha cha cha, son, salsa, and more.
In 2004, he founded Buena Vista Dance Cuban Academy in Australia, and later established the Australian Rueda de Casino Championship & Cuban Dance Festival to share Cuban culture far and wide. El Moro teaches, choreographs, and performs throughout Australia, New Zealand, Europe and beyond — weaving tradition, passion, and creative energy into every step.
