From Tap Dancing to Chamber Music - Two diverse venues to suit a range of uses. The Paddington Uniting Church's historic buildings are host to a myriad of community events and are available for hire. Attend an event, class, or concert here or hold your own.

Church Venue
395 Oxford Street

The acoustic ambience of the historic 1877 Uniting Church has made this a popular performance space. Blessed with good acoustics and a welcoming ambience, audiences have found the space a refreshing change from the usual smoky and noisy venues.

Lightly amplified and acoustic vocal and instrumental concerts are best suited to this venue.

Hall Venue
Newcombe Street

The hundred-year-old Church Hall is a multi-purpose venue. It has kitchen facilities with a servery for food and drink available. The hall is fitted out with a lighting system, a stage and a sound system is available to hire.

The hall has been soundproofed in order to house amplified live music.

Conditions of Usage

There are conditions of usage associated with both venues that hirers have to comply with in order to be granted access to these wonderful venues. The conditions are in place to guarantee that we operate in a way that does not disturb our surrounding residents. We take this relationship with our neighbours very seriously and have a site manager to monitor all uses of the venues and expect our users to adhere to all conditions.
