Eddie Dixon Centre Re-Opens
We are pleased to advise that the Eddie Dixon Centre has reopened.
Paddington Uniting Church has responded to the needs of our community and we are now offering a low-key Drop-In facility, so those in need can call in, have a cuppa, have a shower, have a chat, do washing and generally feel a bit cared for.
The service has been welcomed by some old and new clients. Someone has written on the Church door:
“God Bless thank you for reopening the Edie Dixon center”
We are now looking at how we can provide other services, including some meals and other support services to people in need. We are particularly keen to provide support to people with mental health issues.
